Final Count Down!
In another 20+ hours, we will be taking off to Kiwiland! We are now in pasir ris, garren's brother's place because his second brother, Chew Beng, is kind enough to agree to send us to the airport tomorrow early in the morning. Thanks, Chew Beng!
So this is our itinerary:
7 Apr, 07:10 - Depart from Changi
7 Apr, 09:20 - Arrive at Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei for transit
7 Apr, 13:00 - Depart from BS Begawan
8 Apr, 03:45 - Arrive at Auckland
So we will have to camp over night in Auckland Airport as the earliest bus from airport starts operating from 6am. I kept my finger crossed that this camp-over won't be as bad as the one yc and I had in Barcelona. It was a nightmare at Barcelona airport. We flew from Ibiza to Barcelona at night, arriving in the midnight. So we slept over night at the arrival hall. First of all, we did not realise the chairs weren't as cushy as the ones in departure hall! Heck, in fact it wasn't cushioned or padded at all! So we had to settle ourselves on the hard, cold bench all night. And that's not it, there were some other poor souls like us, among which was a young mother with 2 really young kids! To be more accurate, it was a toddler and an infant! Poor babies, even us adult could hardly stand the cold and uncomfort, hence they were crying all night. And to make it worse, there was a mad woman who would pace to and fro the hall, mumbling and talking to herself...... Gee, that night had been the worst travel experience I ever had, and I certainly hope it was the last!

when we went to paris, a mate from Italy flew over the nite before to one of the airports there cuz of cheaper fare. the rest of us were to arrive the next morning. however, as he was about to settle on an uncomfortable chair to sleep, he was told that the airport was closing for the nite!!!!!!
