Intro to Atawhai Farm: the Properties, Crops, and Plants
the 'last call' bell - Bill found it from an abandoned school
the coal range - where water was heated and lovely meals and bakeries were made
and just look at these utensils, so oliver-twist-era looking! :)
where we had many sumptious meals with the family
the fireplace
and we spent many evenings watching telie over Leitu's homemade dessert after dinner
the stair case leading up to the Backpackers
inside the Backpackers - the bed on the left was mine and the right yd's. This shot was taken after we moved into Lakei's room as a family was taking the Backpackers. When we were staying there, we had 4 layers of blankets and comforters plus a hot-water bottle each to keep ourselves warm at night as there was no heating in the Backpackers. The hot water bottles were our saviours!
a cozy corner in the Backpackers - we left our lengthy, touchy-feely commends in the guest book :) yd even made a whole page of must-do list!
the bushes behind the Backpackers
our working boots - mine and yd's were the same type and size and one day I didn't realise I had on both feet the same side until a very confused yd with a wtf expression came to me with the other 2 same sided boots
Bill's tractor - yd had fun times driving it and i had exciting times being carried around at the back. Warning: not suitable for those with weak hearts when yd's behind the wheel, and not suitable for any living things if i'm behind the wheels
Bill was once a diver and he had taken some really cool underwater pictures
